Does your office take my insurance?
Dr. Para and Dr. Senholzi do not participate with any insurance carriers. Therefore, we would be considered an "out of network" provider. It is important to check that your insurance company allows you to choose your own dentist, and does not restrict you to going to someone on their list. As an out of network dentist, we will submit the claim to your insurance company on your behalf. You, the patient, will be responsible for any amount that is not covered by your insurance. *Please note that your benefit is not always reduced by choosing an out of network provider.
How long have the doctors been in practice?
Dr. Para has been in practice since 1986. Dr. Senholzi has been in practice since 2007. Our office has been open in Hockessin since 1992.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Care Credit.
Do I have payment options?
We will try to work within your financial budget. Depending on the treatment plan, we will offer payment options in-office or through a long-term financing program (Care Credit).
At what age should my child have his/her first dentist appointment?
We generally recommend that children have their first cleaning and checkup at approximately 3 years old. However, if your child is having a problem or emergency prior to that age, we would be happy to see them.
Do you have evening hours?
Yes. We are open Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 8:00pm
Do you have early morning hours?
Yes. Fridays we open at 7:00am. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we open at 8:00am.
How quickly do you see emergency patients?
We make every effort to see patients the same day. If we see you but cannot complete the necessary treatment, we will be sure to take measures to keep you comfortable until we can get you scheduled for treatment.
What do I do if I have an emergency and the office is closed?
There is always a doctor on-call. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, call our office and you will be given an alternate phone number to reach Dr. Para, Dr. Senholzi, or an on-call dentist.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We welcome new patients. Whether you are new to the area or simply in need of a new dentist, we would be happy to have you in our practice.
